“Eric M. Huot is a reputable, highly respected and recognized Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) expert with 35 years of distinguished service as a police officer, intelligence analyst & licensed private investigator.
Eric has been described as a visionary who contributed to the modernization of Canada’s largest law enforcement organization. In 2019, Eric was awarded the RCMP's highest distinctive honor, the Commissioner's Commendation for Outstanding Services for the development and creation of an OSINT program and the establishment of its first national policy in 2015.

His knowledge and extensive operational experience spans across a broad range of disciplines, including leading high performance OSINT teams, training development and delivery, managing high profile criminal, national security and foreign interference investigations, supporting special operations, major event security and cyber intelligence initiatives.

Eric is an accomplished and engaging instructor who speaks passionately about the topic of OSINT, both as a practitioner and a thought leader. As a lifelong learner, he has inspired many over the years, from some of the largest law enforcement organizations around the globe.
